SEW GREEN is a Basic sewing class taught by independent designer Hekima Hapa of HarrietsbyHekima & Founder of Black Girls Sew.

Sew Green is for the sewing novice who envisions reconstructing vintage and existing wardrobe or tackling simple home d├ęcor projects.
The class is offered in four, two hour sessions. The class fee of $150 includes all materials and basic sewing kit for each student. Sewing kits includes scissors, seam ripper, tape measure, straight pins & pin cushion.

This Series is for individuals 18+


Course work includes:
Threading Techniques
Seams, Hems & Proper Ironing
Elastics & Drawstrings
Gathers & Pleats
Buttons & Button Holes
Completion of 1 project

Sessions are Sunday July 9, 16, 23, & 30

10am-noon Space is limited to 10 students per session.
